Vocalist Lee Anne Frederickson’s musical journey began with musical theatre productions of Grease, Kiss Me Kate, Anne of Green Gables, Gypsy and Crazy For You. It was here that Lee Anne developed a love for the music of Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and Cole Porter. Her favourite roles were Fantine in Les Mis and Annie in Annie Get Your Gun. Lee Anne has played at the Ottawa Conference Centre (for the All-Party Party for 1800 members of Parliament, members of the Senate and guests), a lung cancer fundraiser at the ARC Hotel, a party hosted by NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair and Catherine Pinhas at Stornoway as well as a private function hosted by several members of Parliament. She has sung for Ottawa Fashion week, performed at the Ladies Who Lunch event at the National Arts Centre as well as at Zola’s Jazz Night and her quartet plays every other Friday at The Savoy Brasserie in Ottawa. Since the late 1970’s, Jean-Pierre Allain has established himself as one of Ottawa’s favourite pianist-accompanist-arrangers. He has led trios, quartets and quintets in the Festival Franco-Ontarien, the Ottawa and Halifax Jazz Festivals as well as the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Tom Denison has been playing bass and drums for over 25 years and has worked with such greats as Mel Tormé, Kenny Davern and The Smothers Brothers. Tom is a regular performer at the Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax Jazz Festivals.
Norm Glaude has been playing double bass and electric bass for over 20 years. He performs locally, accompanies out-of-town artists and produces and engineers recording projects in his studio, Morning Anthem Studio.
