We are so pleased to host a vocal masterclass with jazz artist Laura Anglade on Sunday October 18, 2020 at 2:30 PM.
Many of us who’ve already had the pleasure of hearing Laura sing are well aware of her talent. But she is also an excellent teacher and communicates her passion for jazz with enthusiasm and a sincere appreciation for those many jazz greats who have influenced her own approach to the practice. For the vocal masterclass, Laura will talk about her career to date, share some ideas regarding the art of jazz singing and then welcome three vocalists who will each perform a jazz standard after which they will receive comments and suggestions from Laura.
Jazz singers at all levels who would like to participate in the class to perform a standard and be coached by Laura should complete the Masterclass Application Form available here. We will choose the three singers a few days before the masterclass and notify them.
Following the masterclass, please join us for Laura’s concert at 4:00 PM (a separately ticketed event). Please connect to the concert link ten minutes before the show so that you can leisurely settle in for the show.
